Some treatment items on an NHS form will be guaranteed, for example, an Amalgam Filling. To add this into an NHS treatment form within your dental software, follow the steps below.
First of all open up the patient you wish to add a guaranteed item to.
Open the Treatment Plan you want to add a guaranteed item to (NHS only).
If it is a new treatment form ensure that the treatment scheme is set to NHS.
Select the tooth and add in the treatment item (in this example amalgam filling), it will then appear on the treatment plan.
Double click the treatment item (amalgam filling) on the treatment plan, the window below will appear.
The red box above highlights the checkbox that needs to be selected in order to make the Amalgam filling guaranteed on the NHS form. Press OK to return to the treatment form.
