It’s been an exciting few months at our headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne with lots of changes and new developments. The first of which is the appointment of our new Marketing Manager – Aimee Aiken. Aimee joins us with a wealth of experience in the defence, construction and energy sectors and is looking forward to working in the dental industry and learning about the intricacies of Practice Management Software. Aimee has hit the ground running with the planning and organisation of our attendance at the BDIA showcase at the Excel in London, and is looking forward to spreading the news on a range of new products to our portfolio.
Our team of software developers are busy putting the final touches to our latest product offering – the Patient Portal. Excitement has been building here over the last few months as this is a pivotal launch for our team and takes our business model in a new direction. The Patient Portal is set to make a seismic change on how our customers communicate with their patients. The Patient Portal app can be downloaded to desktop, tablet or mobile phone and can be used by patients to:
- Update their personal details - Use online payment methods to pay for their treatment - View X-rays - Book appointments
The Patient Portal can be used by Practices to communicate more effectively with their patients and do so in a convenient and environmentally friendly way. The Patient Portal allows the Practice Manager or Principal Dentist to view how effectively the Practice is running from anywhere in the world and can highlight key information such as DNAs and unpaid treatments at anytime through the sophisticated reporting methods.
